We are ordinary people, with ordinary problems, whose lives have been changed through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We love and trust Him, believe His Word and aim to live for Him.

We are an Independent Evangelical Church in Hillfields, Coventry.

What Our Name Means
Why Evangelical?
Most of us don't use the word "evangelical" very much. But it does say something important, something worth saying.

"Evangelical" means good news. In the name of the church "Evangelical" says that we believe the good news about Jesus Christ, by trusting Jesus - God forgives us, sets us free and gives us solid, certain hope.

Why Baptist?
Because we baptise those who have put their trust in Jesus. We don't baptise babies. We don't simply baptise adults but only those who have put their faith in Jesus.
